Spinal Manipulative Therapy

    • A 2020 systematic review showed evidence of the safety of spinal manipulative therapy in children under 10 years of age. The evidence showed that the most adverse events are mild including crying and soreness. Although there is a limited amount of research on manipulative therapy in pediatric patients, there is no evidence showing severe adverse events from spinal manipulative therapy on children under the age of 10.1
